Race 3: Off The Track 0-64 Handicap – 1200m
Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.
General – Correct weight for this event was delayed while the Stewards reviewed the head on footage of the start in relation to YOWZA missing the start and being left at the post. After viewing the footage correct weight was declared.
CRAZY LAD (I Luximon) – Jumped awkwardly and bumped with another runner.
YOWZA (T Townsend) – As the start was effected the gelding reared high in the barriers hitting its head at the top of the barriers dislodging its rider and was left at the post when quickly captured by a barrier attendant. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding sustained a small laceration above its right eye.
SKELLIG ISLAND (P Denton) – Bumped at the start. Race wide throughout.

TSUGARU (I Luximon) – Commenced awkwardly. Mistrode approaching the 700m momentarily unbalancing its rider.

General – Correct weight was delayed as the rider of the 2nd place getter requested to view the footage of the start. After reviewing the footage correct weight was declared.
CHIEF MONDO (J Todd) – Stood flat footed missing the start.
EUPHEGENIA (A Butler) – Bumped at the start. The mare returned having bled from both nostrils. Trainer T Logan was advised that as this was the first occasion the mare will incur the mandatory embargo in accordance with AR79(4).
AIR COMMAND (M Pegus) – Commenced Awkwardly. Race wide throughout.
BRAZENPINE (W Davis) – Bumped at the start.
SON OF UTRED (I Luximon) – Bumped at the start.
