RADIO ROOM (A Maloney) – Held up for clear running from the 500m to approx. the 300m.
PEMBROKE CASTLE (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly.
GOLDEN RIPPLES (J Todd) – Got its head up for a number of strides on jumping.
HARD WORK REWARDS (D Gillett) – Slow away and raced wide throughout.

MIGHTY MURT (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and inclined to shift outwards under pressure over the final stages.

General: Due to a mishap with the tractor on the track, the start time for the last two events were amended to:

UNPREDICTED (J Philpot) – Inconvenienced for room between runners shortly after jumping.
THE LAST CHARGE (E Lines) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
ANANAGRAM (NZ) (P Denton) – Slow into stride after beginning awkwardly.
MANHATTAN MAN (D Morgan) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide throughout.
NORDIC LASS (J Hampson) – Bumped and inconvenienced for room between runners on jumping.
SUGAR GLIDER (S Wiseman) – Trainer L Whittle was advised that a warning had been placed on the mare for its unruly behaviour in the mounting yard.
SUPERIOR POWER (P Crich) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner and inclined to race erratic in the early stages.
1ST ESASHI 2ND UNPREDICTED 3RD MANHATTAN MAN
Race 5: TROBIS Maiden Plate 1000m
RIMROCK declared a late scratching at 1:50pm after its rider sought permission to not fulfil his riding engagement on this runner.
IAMELLE declared a late scratching at 4:30pm on veterinary advice after being found to be slightly lame in the off fore.
As no book maker was on course, no betting deductions were applicable to both runners.
ARTIE STAR (D Morgan) – Fractious in the barriers.
EIGHT ON THE DOT (J Hampson) – Slow into stride.
FINAL JEDI (D Gillett) – Slow into stride and raced a little greenly in running.
General: Jockey P Crich was initially booked to ride IAMELLE and apprentice L Maloney was booked to ride RIMROCK at the time set down for rider declarations. Apprentice L Maloney was subsequently ineligible to ride RIMROCK due to his licence conditions. Trainer R Bell who trains both runners was permitted to swap his riders. On race day jockey P Crich sought to be released from his riding engagement on RIMROCK. After outlining his reasons to the Stewards in the presence of R Bell, his request was acceded to and as there was no replacement rider available, RIMROCK was declared a late scratching at 1:50pm. Jockey P Crich was admonished for his late request but given the circumstances, no further action was taken. IAMELLE was subsequently scratched later in the day on veterinary advice at 4:30pm.
