General – On inquiry apprentice Luximon AGAINST THE TIDE was cautioned for allowing his mount to shift in when securing a clear run near the 150m resulting in MT BULLER (E Lines) being bumped and crowded near the 125m.

BEACHHAVEN (J Hampson) – Stood flat footed at the start and lost considerable ground. Trainer T Haler was advised that a warning will be placed on the gelding in this regard. When questioned regarding the performance apprentice J Hampson advised that after losing considerable ground at the start she commenced to ride forward and raced wide passing the 1200m. The gelding commenced to race keenly, and the rider was struck in the face by a clod of dirt near the 1100m, she had difficulty in checking the speed of her mount and consequently, the gelding was under pressure passing the 500m and yielded ground in the home straight.
