BRAT (D Gillett) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner. Raced wide in the early and middle stages of the event.
GINGER CREEK (I Luximon) – Commenced awkwardly.
ME CABO (L Maloney) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.

Race 2: FABALICE WELCOME HANDICAP 1100m
MANHATTAN MAN (L Maloney) – Reared on jumping losing considerable ground. Trainer G Connor was advised that the gelding would need to barrier trial after being difficult to load delaying the race to start on time. The gelding had a warning placed on it from its previous start for also being difficult to load and delaying the start.
CITY JET (D Gillett) – Inclined to lay inwards down the length of the straight.
ROCKFORD FILES (C Hunter) – Stood flat footed as the start was effected losing some ground.

Race 3: ALICE SPRINGS TOYOTA HANDICAP 1100m
ROUGHLY (S Wiseman) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
SUPREME ATTRACTION (D Gillett) – Slow into stride bumping with another runner and raced wide throughout.
SUPREME TIMES (S Tsaikos) – Held up for clear running at the 300m having to steady before shifting outwards off heels to obtain clear running.
HALGARD (J Todd) – Began to shift outwards under pressure from the 200m. Rider dropped his whip close to the line. Rider reminded of his obligations to stop and straighten his mounts when they are shifting ground with every stride.
BEATBOX (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly.

Race 4: LADBROKES PUNTER ASSIST HANDICAP 1000m
MACINAW (S Wiseman) – After a disappointing performance, a post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off hind. Trainer W Savage was advised that prior to the gelding again starting in a race, he must produce a veterinary certificate of soundness satisfactory to the Stewards. W Savage subsequently advised that the gelding would now be retired from racing.
KARIBA (C Hunter) – Steadied off heels approaching the first turn when racing forward.
MADAM MISCHIEF (J Philpot) – Brushed with another runner about the 150m.
FLUFFY BUNNY FEET (L Maloney) – Commenced awkwardly.
GOLDEN RIPPLES (J Hampson) – Commenced awkwardly.
SPEED WHEEL (I Luximon) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
ACRES MIDNIGHT (S Tsaikos) – Shifted outwards under pressure about the 150m brushing with another runner and causing its rider to stop riding and straighten his mount.
SUPERIOR POWER (J Todd) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
General: Correct weight for this event was delayed after the rider of the second placegetter (S Tsaikos) requested to view the Stewards patrol footage down the straight. After viewing the footage, correct weight was declared.

EIGHT ON THE DOT (L Maloney) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner and tightened between runners shortly after.
FINAL JEDI (D Gillett) – Raced wide into the first turn and remained racing wide through the middle stages of the event.
BON BANDEAU (S Wiseman) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
