ASAHI BEARING (J Todd) – When questioned regarding the unplaced performance the rider advised he led comfortably in running, but was under pressure when challenged mid race and began to yield ground and raced in his opinion raced in a flat manner. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
DESIGN ARTIST (S Fawke) – Commenced awkwardly.
MAGNOLIA ROSE (P Crich) – Slow away. Shifted inwards at the top of the straight under pressure. Shifted outwards off heels 100m to obtain a clear running.
