Race 1: Win a Vespa Scooter at Silks 0-64 Handicap – 1200m

DYNAMIC THINKER (C Hunter) – Following the unplaced performance a post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Subsequent to the meeting trainer advised that gelding required treatment for swelling in both hind legs. He was advised that a veterinary clearance will be required for the gelding prior to racing again.

Race 2: Silks Mega Raffle 31 May C2 Handicap – 1200m

BARRAGUNDA (S Wiseman) – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn.

FRACTION LATE (J Hampson) – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages and wide from the 600m.

STARS THE LIMIT (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly.

PRINCIPAL BELLE (P Denton) – Refused to proceed to the barriers after leaving the mounting enclosure but did so after the tongue tie was removed. The mare subsequently raced without this gear and trainer K Petrick advised that she would experiment with a tongue control bit with a view to making a gear change.

Race 3: Ladbroke IT 0-58 Handicap – 1200m

SWEET AS SCANDI (I Luximon) – Raced wide throughout.

AFTERNOON TEA (W Davis) – Raced wide throughout.

ZOU DER ZEE (J Hampson) – Raced keenly in the middle stages.

TUFFNUTT (J Todd) – Shifted inwards under pressure over the final 50m.

Race 4: Mindal Beach Casino Resort BM54 Handicap – 1100m

SUPER FAMOUS (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.

DREYFUS (W Davis) – Returned having bled from the right nostril. Trainer P Cole advised the gelding must perform a satisfactory gallop in accordance with AR79 prior to racing again.

BEL SUONO (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide on straightening.

MAKE AN EFFORT (S Wiseman) – A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare coughed after the event and made a respiratory noise. Trainer T Logan undertook to have the mare undergo an endoscopic examination and would advise accordingly of the results.

THE ALBION (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly.

Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.

LOVEPLANET (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly.

SEDONA (W Davis) – Slow into stride.

SPIELBERG (J Hampson) – Raced wide for the majority of the event.

BARTOLINI (W Davis) – Commenced awkwardly.

EURELLYDIDIT (C Hunter) – A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near fore leg. Trainer E Clarke was advised that a veterinary clearance will be required for the gelding prior to racing again.
