PATRIOTIC KING (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.

TIGERS ROAR (J Booth) – Bumped at the start.

LITTLE DITTY (D Barton) – Got its head up at the start.

TIPSY TORONADO (P Shiers) – Slow to muster early speed. Returned with blood in the mouth.

Race 2: National Seniors Top End Branch Handicap 0-70 – 1100m

CONVINCEBILITY (J Booth) – Crowded and bumped at the start.

STRUCK GOLD (A Nicholls) – Shifted ground outwards under pressure inside the final 150m.

SUNZOU (H Le Blanc) – Bounded at the start.

KISSING SUPIDO (J Todd) – Lay outwards in running and as a result was restrained from heels rounding the home turn. A post race veterinary examination found the gelding to be lame in the near fore leg. Trainer G Clarke was advised that a veterinary clearance is required prior to the gelding racing again.

BRAT (D Gillett) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Raced wide throughout.

DAMO DAYZ (P Shiers) – Impeded from heels and steadied approaching the 200m.

Race 3: Tschirpig Conveyancing TROBIS Maiden Plate SW – 1000m

Stewards interviewed trainer P Cole in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.

ACHACHA (R Vigar) – Rider was reminded of his obligation under AR131(b) to ensure he rides his horse out fully to the end of the race.

TIME TO BACA (D Barton) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Mistrode and dipped near the 950m, losing ground. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

1ST SNAPPY SWEETHEART 2ND MLINZI 3RD ACHACHA

Race 4: Advance Civil Engineering Handicap BM76 – 1300m

HELLO WORLD (H Le Blanc) – Slow into stride.

AWASH (J Todd) – Raced wide throughout.

VINNIE’S SPIRIT (R Vigar) – Raced wide from the 500m.

KANGAROO COURT (D Gillett) – Steadied when crossed by another runner leaving the 900m and the raced keenly for some distance.

TUBTHUMPER (W Davis) – Difficult to load. Yielded ground from the 600m. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer P Cole advised the mare will now be sent for a spell.

General – On inquiry, apprentice J Booth (GROUNDRUSH) was advised to exercise more care in future after it was established she permitted her mount to shift ground when not fully clear of KANGAROO COURT (D Gillett) near the 900m.

Race 5: Bendigo Bank Coolalinga Handicap – 1200m

Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.

GREAT BUY (D Gillett) – Raced wide throughout.

DEVILS DELIGHT (J Booth) – Apprentice was permitted to claim 2.5kg instead of 3kg in this event and her explanation was accepted. Commenced awkwardly and bumped.

SHAKATTAK (H Le Blanc) – Bumped at the start.

Race 6: Book Father’s Day at Silks Handicap 0-58 – 1600m

VIERI (H Le Blanc) – Bumped at the start. Bumped at the 150m. Rider reported her mount had a tendency to lay inwards in running and coughed after the race. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

FAITHFUL CHAMPION (R Vigar) – Mistrode near the 1200m and shifted out bumping with another runner. Bumped another runner near the 150m.

THE ALBION (P Shiers) – Bumped at the start.

NEW ENTERPRISE (J Todd) – Raced wide throughout.

GO BARNEY GO (W Davis) – Proved difficult to load. Bumped by another and checked off heels near the 1200m. A warning will now be placed the gelding’s barrier manners.
