General: As Apprentice Jockey D Gillett was indisposed and unable to fulfil her riding engagements for today, Stewards approved the following changes:
Race 2: FLORAL CODE - Scratched due to a float incident.
Race 5: TINTERN POWER - Scratched as no other rider was available.
Race 6: ALTAR BOY - P Denton
Race 1: Vale Leanne Hartley Handicap 0-58 - 1200m
JAMAICAN GOLD (S Logan) – After a disappointing performance, a post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Trainer L Whittle advised that the gelding would now be spelled.
NO CASH HERE (D Hirini) – Bumped with another runner close to the finish.
TANGO STEPZ (I Luximon) – Shifted out off heels passing the 100m to obtain clear running.
BLOWN AWAY (L Maloney) – Knuckled on jumping. Commenced to shift outwards under pressure from the 150m and bumping with another runner close to the finish.
SHEER REWARD (J Doyle) – Lay outwards rounding the home turn and then commenced to shift inwards under pressure from the 200m.

Race 2: Red Centre Racing Awards 11th Oct Handicap 0-58 - 1200m
FLORAL CODE declared a late scratching at 10:57am on veterinary advice after a mishap in the float on arrival and sustaining mild lameness of the near-fore.
VITESSE BREEZE (P Denton) – Slow to muster early speed losing ground early. Raced wide into the home straight. Rider reported that the gelding never travelled throughout and in his opinion, felt a little flat. Trainer G Connor advised that he would see how the gelding pulls up whether to spell or not. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities other than slight coughing which may have been a result of inhaling dust during running.
MURRAJONG ROAD (D Barton) – Raced wide throughout.
GAME COVE (L Maloney) – Knuckled on jumping.

Race 3: Ladbrokes Follow The Experts Handicap C2 - 1000m
MOUGENOT (I Luximon) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner. Raced in restricted room from the 600m to the 400m.
KING BLING (D Hirini) – Lay out under pressure from the 150m.
DENUTO (S Logan) – Rider reported her mount resented the kickback and as a result the gelding lay outwards rounding the home turn getting its head up and raced ungenerously for a number of strides.
ONLY THE BEST (H Le Blanc) – Slow into stride and raced wide into the home straight.
BON’S A LAD (L Maloney) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
BOSS SHELBY (D Barton) – Began awkwardly and raced wide throughout.

BOY BIG (L Maloney) – Commenced to race wide from the 700m.
SUPER FAMOUS (D Barton) – Failed to muster early speed getting back in the field before running on.
QUANAPIRRI BAY (D Hirini) – Bounded on jumping and inclined to over-race in the middle stages.
STANDING BEAR (I Luximon) – Began awkwardly.
BOLD TROPIC (P Denton) – Bounded on jumping.

HOT SAUCE declared a late scratching at 1:37pm by order of the Stewards after it failed to load. Stable representative J Viney was advised that as the mare has had multiple suspensions for similar occurrences, it must successfully be passed in 2 barrier trials prior to again racing.
VALLEY PRINCE (D Hirini) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and shifted outwards under pressure in the concluding stages.
PROPHESIER (S Logan) – Began awkwardly losing some ground. Shifted out off heels at the 300m to gain clear running and bumped with another runner nearing the 200m.
DR VENKMAN (D Barton) – Began awkwardly losing some ground.
RED HAWK (L Maloney) – Raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race. Shifted outwards top of the straight under pressure bumping with another runner nearing the 200m.
THE BIG FREEZE (J Doyle) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
