BATTLE JACK (S Logan) – Commenced awkwardly, shifted outwards approaching the 800m.

EVEN SHARPER (D Hirini) – Shifted outwards off heels approaching the 800m.

BOOMERCONI (D Barton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide throughout.

RIBTICKLER (R Vigar) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.

MOUGENOT (I Luximon) – Commenced awkwardly shifting inwards.

GRINZINGER LASS (S Logan) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner. Steadied off heels at the 700m when racing forward.

MATRON SAMSING (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and then failed to muster early speed getting well back.

BOOM SMASH OPERA (D Barton) – Slow into stride and raced wide throughout. L Edwards, stable foreman for D Leech was advised that a warning had been placed on the gelding after it was reluctant to leave the barrier stall when the start was effected.

DENUTO (L Maloney) – Began to yield ground from the 600m when under pressure.

DYNASTY REWARD (D Barton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

KING BLING (D Hirini) – Commenced to shift inwards shortly after jumping. Rider reminded of her obligations to ensure she gives riders on her inside room when electing to shift ground.

PICCADILLY HERO (R Vigar) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.

UPFORTHECHALLENGE (I Luximon) – Commenced awkwardly having to steady off heels shortly after losing some ground.

STANDARD STREET (P Denton) – Raced wide throughout.

QUANAPIRRI BAY (D Hirini) – Slow into stride.

ONLY THE BEST (I Luximon) – Raced wide throughout. After a disappointing performance, a veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Rider advised that the gelding felt very flat throughout the event. Trainer W Savage advised that he would freshen the gelding up prior to its next start.

MIDNIGHT HUSTLE (R Vigar) – Inclined to lay out under pressure over the concluding stages.

SWEETWILLHEBE (R Vigar) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Steadied off heels at the 850m and again at the 700m when racing keenly.
