General: Apprentice Jockey D Barton was unable to fulfil her riding engagements for today after missing her flight from Darwin. Subsequently the following rider changes were approved:

Race 1: Rimfire Energy Handicap BM76 - 1200m
K Petrick was interviewed in regards to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders bearing in mind she had multiple runners in this event.
GREAT GUST (S Lacy) – Steadied off heels at the 750m when racing forward, bumped with another runner at the 250m.
BOY BIG (L Maloney) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
BAHAMA BAY (R Vigar) – Bumped with another runner at the 250m and commenced to lay inwards under pressure thereafter.
TELLEZ (I Luximon) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide from the 600m.

Race 2: Gallagher Insurance Brokers Maiden Plate SW – 1100m
IVOR GOOD ONE declared a late scratching at 1:10pm by order of the Stewards after refusing to load. Trainer W Savage was advised that the gelding must undergo a barrier trial prior to again starting in a race.
PICCADILLY HERO (R Vigar) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner.
OUR SQUAMOSA (P Denton) – Bounded on jumping.
STANDARD STREET (L Maloney) – Underwent a veterinary examination on arriving at the barriers and was passed fit to start. Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide throughout and inclined to lay outwards rounding the home turn.

Race 3: Santa at the Races Dec 20 Handicap (Div 1) BM54 - 1100m
Trainers R Viney and G Connor were interviewed in regards to the riding instructions they intended to issue their riders bearing in mind they had multiple runners in this event.
EVEN SHARPER (D Hirini) – Held up for clear running from the 600m to the 450m. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure final 200m.
KING BLING (L Maloney) – Checked off heels when severely tightened by another runner along the rails near the 150m.
QUANAH (S Logan) – Knuckled on jumping almost dislodging its rider.
REAL DIVINE (P Denton) – Began awkwardly and raced wide entering the home straight.
TRAVANTI (I Luximon) – Raced wide entering into the home straight and commenced to shift inwards passing the 200m for clear running.
General: On inquiry, jockey I Luximon pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the provisions of AR131(a). The specifics of the charge being that he did allow his mount TRAVANTI to shift ground inwards approaching the 150m when insufficiently clear resulting in KING BLING (L Maloney) being crowded for room and having to check his mount along the rails losing considerable ground. I Luximon had his licence to ride in races suspended for 2 Alice Springs meetings commencing midnight 22nd November 2025, and to expire after midnight the 20th December 2025. I Luximon was advised of his right of appeal.

Race 4: Happy Birthday Deb Tidey Handicap (Div 2) BM54 – 1100m
REVOLUTION RISING (L Maloney) – Lay inwards for several strides at the top of the straight when tested with the whip.
APOLAKI (S Lacy) – Rider reported that her mount resented the kickback throughout the event.
SHOW PONY (J Philpot) – Underwent a veterinary examination on arriving at the barriers and was passed fit to start. Reluctant to jump when start effected losing ground.
STELLA BYSTARLIGHT (I Luximon) – Steadied off heels approaching the 900m when racing forward.
