Race 1: Ladbrokes Fast Payouts Handicap BM54 – 1300m
MERCHANT DELIGHT (D Barton) – Bumped with another runner on several occasions down the back straight. Shifted inwards in the concluding stages. Cast the near-hind plate in running.
JULY (R Vigar) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped with another runner.
NEW ENTERPRISE (P Shiers) – Slow into stride and tightened between runners on jumping. Steadied off heels passing the 1000m when racing forward.
ROC DE RUSSIAN (A Sweeney) – Bumped with another runner on several occasions down the back straight. Raced wide throughout.
WHITTEN (W Davis) – Slow into stride and failed to muster early speed losing ground early.

Race 2: Become A DTC Member Handicap 0-70 – 1200m
Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.
STRUCK GOLD (J Todd) – Jumped awkwardly getting it’s head up when momentarily tightened between runners on jumping. Raced erratically in the early and middle stages. Raced wide entering the straight and continued to shift outwards under pressure.
GLOBAL WONDER (A Sweeney) – Commenced awkwardly.
PRINCE RUBAN (D Barton) – Slow into stride and bumped with another runner.

Race 3: TAB Handicap 0-64 – 1100m
CRIPPS TONITE (D Barton) – Commenced awkwardly. Rider reminded of her obligation in regard to her use of the whip when her mounts are out of contention.
KESSLER (V Arnott) – Raced wide from the 700m.
OAKLAND RAIDER (W Davis) – Commenced awkwardly.
LA BOQUERIA (M McGuren) – Fractious in the barriers.

Race 4: Silks Darwin New Menu Handicap 0-58 – 1000m
JUMPING POWER TWO (S Logan) – Fractious in the barriers and reared dislodging its rider prior to the start being affected. Subsequently both rider and horse were cleared to start in the race. Shifted inwards slightly approaching the 700m when racing forward. Trainer T Logan was advised that due to the incident in the barriers, the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing again.
PREDICTING (R Vigar) – Bumped with another runner.
PEACE BABY (M McGuren) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner. Taken inwards by another runner approaching the 700m.
FIELD OF PRAISE (A Sweeney) – Taken inwards by another runner approaching the 700m.
DANCER FOR MONEY (W Davis) – Steadied when tightened for room along the rails approaching the 700m.
TOUGH IMPACT (D Barton) – Cantankerous in the mounting yard and on the track prior to going to the start. Slow into stride. Trainer C Pollard was advised that due to the pre-race behaviour of the gelding, a warning has now been placed on the gelding.

Race 5: ROANT TROBIS Maiden Plate SW – 1000m
Stewards interviewed trainer C Pollard in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.
PATYEP (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly.
ROYAL LYTHAM (D Barton) – Slow into stride.
TEE GALLERIA (P Shiers) – Cast the near-fore plate in running.
RED EXTREME (V Arnott) – Raced wide throughout.
AQUA BLUE (A Sweeney) – Slow into stride. Cast the off-hind plate in running.
