Stewards interviewed trainer K Petrick in regards to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders bearing in mind she had multiple runners in this event.

ROCK OF KRYPTONITE (J Philpot) – Bumped with another runner on multiple occasions along the back straight.

QUANAPIRRI BAY (L Maloney) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner.

EVEN SHARPER (D Hirini) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

LEAN ON ME (R Vigar) – Bounded as the gates opened. Bumped with another runner on multiple occasions along the back straight when laying outwards.

Race 2: Imparja Handicap 0-70 – 1100m

Stewards interviewed trainer K Petrick in regards to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders bearing in mind she had multiple runners in this event.

BOY BIG (L Maloney) – Began awkwardly and raced wide throughout.

TELLEZ (R Vigar) – Began to yield ground quickly from the 200m when under pressure.

MAGIC DEFENSE (W Davis) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

DEMIQUAVER (S Logan) – Slow into stride.

BLACK ZOUS (P Denton) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner.

QUALIS (D Hirini) – Began awkwardly.

Race 3: Colemans Printing Handicap 0-58 - 1200m

MODS (W Davis) – Taken outwards onto another runner passing the 1000m having to take hold and check losing considerable ground.

VITESSE BREEZE (L Maloney) – Checked off the heels of a runner passing the 1000m.

NO CASH HERE (D Hirini) – Commenced to shift outwards passing the 1000m.

SHOW PONY (S Logan) – Slow into stride.

TRAVANTI (D Barton) – Began awkwardly and raced wide from the 700m.

General: On inquiry, Jockey D Hirini (NO CASH HERE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the provisions of AR131(a). The specifics of the charge being that shortly after passing the 1000m, she allowed her mount to shift ground outwards when insufficiently clear resulting in MODS (W Davis) being taken outwards onto another runner, with the rider having to take hold and check losing considerable ground. Further, apprentice jockey L Maloney (VITESSE BREEZE) which was following, had to also take hold and check his mount to avoid the heels of that runner. Jockey D Hirini had her licence to ride in races suspended for 1 Alice Springs meeting to commence midnight the 6th December 2025, and to expire after midnight the 20th December 2025. D Hirini was advised of her rights to appeal.

Race 4: Santa at the Races Dec 20 Handicap C2 – 1400m

Stewards interviewed trainer K Petrick in regards to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders bearing in mind she had multiple runners in this event.

THE ACCELATOR (D Barton) – Began awkwardly.

HELLO MARY (W Davis) – Began awkwardly.

Race 5: Maloney Kan Accountants Handicap C2 - 1400m

General - Stewards approved the following rider changes for this event after R Vigar (dehydrated) and S Logan (personal reasons) became indisposed.

MATRON SAMSING (P Denton) – Began awkwardly unbalancing its rider.

COLLISON (L Maloney) – Raced wide into the home straight and then lay inwards under pressure thereafter.

Race 6: Ladbrokes Quick Multi Handicap BM54 - 1600m

BECQUEREL (L Maloney) – Fractious in the barriers before rearing as start was effected losing ground. Lay inwards under pressure from the top of the straight.
