Race 1: Mindil Beach Casino Resort Handicap 0-76 – 1600m

AWASH (J Todd) – Lay out under pressure at the 200m.

CROWN WATERS (H Le Blanc) – Raced wide into the first turn. Lay out rounding the home turn.

CAPITOL HILL (R Vigar) – Raced wide from the home turn. Commenced to yield ground from the 600m.

Race 2: Sportsbet Handicap 0-58 – 1600m

ITWASONLYAKISS (V Arnott) – Commenced awkwardly.

DESERT MIST (A Sweeney) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped after jumping. Checked off heels when over racing into restricted room at the 650m.

ANKLE ROLEX (W D’Avila) – Tightened for room in between runners passing the 700m and took hold and steadied. Rider reported that after missing the start he was disappointed for a forward position throughout in the big field and also the gelding began to lay out mid race, which made it difficult to again obtain clear running.

SASS (J Stanley) – Commenced awkwardly and jumped.

NEW ENTERPRISE (H Le Blanc) – Bumped at the start.

WORLD AFFAIRS (J Booth) – Slow into stride. Taken outwards by another runner at the 900m and then raced wide from there onwards.

Race 3: Book St Pat’s Raceday 14 March Handicap 0-64 – 1300m

FURY (J Todd) – Bumped at the start. After a disappointing run a post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had mild lameness to the near-hind leg but was advised that no further treatment is required. Cast near-hind plate in running.

FUNNYIFITWON (R Vigar) – Bumped at the start.

RHESUS (W Davis) – Cast near-hind plate in running.

HELL AND BACK (V Arnott) – Raced wide throughout. After the Trainer requested a post-race veterinary examination due to the gelding’s poor performance, it was revealed the gelding had sustained a laceration under its right eye. Trainer C Pollard will be required to present a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to racing again.

JULY (L Maloney) – Commenced awkwardly.

ROSSANADO (A Sweeney) – Lay in at the top of the straight under pressure. Cast its off-hind plate in running.

PATYEP (D Barton) – Slow into stride.
