Race 1: JSM Civils Mile BM76 – 1600m

ICHIBAN (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly. Had to be restrained near the 600m when forced to race in restricted room for a short distance.

GRINZINGER BISHOP (J Doyle) – Slow into stride. Raced wide in the early and middle stages.

ROCK REVOLUTION (J Lyon) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.

AICHI ICON (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.

BAROCCO BAR (L Maloney) – Shifted in slightly onto another runner near the 600m. Rider reminded of obligations when shifting ground.

Race 2: AER Industries TROBIS 0-58 Handicap – 1200m

RAMPAZETTO (S Tsaikos) – Cast near-fore plate in running.

DYNAMIC THEORY (H Le Blanc) – Lay in throughout the race and brushed the running rail in the vicinity of the 650m.

MODS (J Todd) – Slow into stride.

STOMP’EM (J Doyle) – A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 3: SEM Group Fillies and Mares Handicap 0-62 – 1200m

DOLCE D’AMOUR (L Maloney) – Commenced awkwardly. Raced ungenerously in the early stages and near the 1100m shifted into the running line of another runner. Cast off-hind plate in running.

STARLITE REBEL (I Luximon) – Checked near the 1100m to avoid the heels of another runner.

MISS BOOM (J Doyle) – Raced wide throughout the event. Rider explained that the mare did not respond to her riding and commenced to weaken from near the 700m. She added that in her opinion the mare was not suited by the short back up. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an elevated heart rate. Trainer K Healy was asked to report if the mare showed any abnormalities on return to his stables.

NO I’M NOT (D Barton) – Raced wide over the concluding 500m.

OCEAN’S JEN (A Sweeney) – Held up for clear running from the 300m until near the 150m.

TIPSY TORONADO (P Shiers) – Cast both hind plates in running.

Race 4: SBA Office National Handicap 0-66 – 1200m

BRAZEN BON (V Arnott) – Cast near-hind plate in running.

LIMITED RISK (I Luximon) – Near the 700m had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of another runner. Near the 600m lay out and had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of another runner.

PUB CRAWL (J Doyle) – Slow into stride. Over-raced approaching the 700m and shifted out when being steadied.

TIME TO BACA (J Hampson) – Jumped awkwardly and shifted in.

YOUR NOT THE BOSS (J Lyon) – Jumped awkwardly. Raced wide in the early stages.

KALIMNA VIEWS (W Davis) – Carried in shortly after the start. Cast near-hind plate in running.

Race 5: On Fire Racing Handicap 0-76 – 1000m

Stewards interviewed trainer K Healy in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.

WILD BEAU (J Todd) – Slow into stride.

LUCKY FORTUNA (J Doyle) – Lay out from near the 600m until the entrance of the straight.

JUMPING POWER TWO (H Le Blanc) – Cast near-hind plate in running.

CAP TEN (I Luximon) – Slow into stride.

Race 6: Sunset Plumbing NT Maiden SW – 1300m

KAL IT MAGIC (W Davis) – Slow into stride.

MEET ME AT THE BAR (D Gillett) – Jumped awkwardly. When questioned in relation to her settling position in the early stages, rider explained that she had been instructed to attempt to have the gelding settle as it was up in distance in today’s event. She added that she was unable to do so and the gelding over-raced in the early stages. Trainer C Nash advised that he did not anticipate the gelding settling as far back as it had however was of the opinion that it ran a very good race. After considering the evidence Mr Nash was reminded of his obligations under AR100(a) in notifying Stewards if a runner is to be ridden in a different manner to its most recent start.

VINOLENT (B Cray) – Slow into stride.

Race 7: TAB ROANT Gold Cup – 1300m

DAKOTA LEE (D Gillett) – Cast near-hind plate in running.

PROMISES KEPT (R Vigar) – Slow into stride. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had bled from both nostrils. Trainer M Hickmott was advised that the gelding was now suspended from racing for 3 months in accordance with AR79(4).

VEGA MAGNIFICO (J Hampson) – Brushed the running rail on several occasions near the 700m.

FLYING YISHU (L Maloney) – Slow into stride.

ZONDEE (A Sweeney) – Shifted out on jumping and bumped another runner.

CROWN WATERS (H Le Blanc) – Knuckled on jumping.
