General: Stewards questioned H Le Blanc (BECQUEREL) in relation to her ride throughout the event and the lack of vigour shown on her mount from the top of the straight. H Le Blanc explained that she was of the opinion that the gelding did not feel right in its action and felt it unnecessary to test her mount at the top of the straight. As this was not reported to the Stewards, she was reminded of her obligations under AR114 that she must report to the Stewards as soon as practicable anything that may have affected her mounts running. Stewards also advised that by not reporting such concerns about a runners welfare immediately, it eliminates any chance for a veterinary examination on a runner to be performed. Stewards further advised that in future she must ride in a manner that does not leave her rides open for question.
