Race 1: Red Centre Technology Partners 0-58 Handicap - 1200m

THROW AT DA STUMPS (S Tsaikos) – Was found to have bled from both nostrils on returning to the mounting yard. Trainer K Petrick was advised of her obligations under AR79 in relation to the gelding going forward.

REVOLUTION RISING (P Denton) – Began awkwardly.

ONLY THE BEST (D Hirini) – Inclined to lay out under pressure rounding the home turn and continued to lay out down the length of the straight.

SNICK (J Philpot) – Began awkwardly.

 

Race 2: Ladbrokes Same Race Multi 0-64 Handicap – 1200m

GRINZINGER LASS (I Luximon) – Raced wide into the home straight when laying out under pressure.

IKNOWHATYOUREDOING (App. J Booth) – Slow into stride and failed to muster early speed getting well back. Rider reported that in her opinion, the gelding would be better suited over more ground.

 

Race 3: Book Now Red Centre Racing Awards 10th Oct BM76 Handicap - 1200m

Trainer G Connor was interviewed in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue his riders as he had multiple runners in this event.

BAHAMA BAY (S Tsaikos) – Rider reminded of his obligations to ensure he rides his mounts out to the line as required under AR131(b).

BOY BIG (App. J Booth) – Steadied off heels into first turn when racing forward. Lay in under pressure from the 200m.

DANIHER (I Luximon) – Began awkwardly and raced wide throughout.

 

Race 4: Imparja 0-64 Handicap – 1000m

GOLDEN TUNES (App. J Booth) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner.

TELLEZ (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

BONNY IMPACT (P Denton) – Shifted outwards under pressure from the 100m.

 

Race 5: Centreline Saddlery & Country Outfitters C2 Handicap - 1400m

HIGHSTRUNG (App. J Booth) – Rider reported that her mount was inclined to race keen early.

BRAZEN SAILOR (D Hirini) – Began awkwardly.

MUMMSIE (S Tsaikos) – Began awkwardly momentarily unbalancing its rider.

LOVE TO LIE (J Philpot) – Inclined to race a little ungenerously early getting its head up.

 

General:

Post-race samples were taken from all winners.

Pre-race samples were taken from: LAWS WARS, STELLA BYSTARLIGHT, BOY BIG & FRANKFURT.

Race 1 - Jockey I Luximon was reprimanded for a whip breach, AR132(7)(a)(ii).
