Race 1: Ladbrokes Tote Win+10% Handicap BM54 - 1200m
HELLIVIT (App. L Maloney) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner.
OCTOBER STAR (D Hirini) – Raced wide throughout.
EVEN SHARPER (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
BON’S A LAD (B Cray) – Began awkwardly unbalancing its rider. Steadied passing the 1000m when attempting a run inside a runner along the rails.
BODMIN BOY (App. J Booth) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
LEAN ON ME (App. D Barton) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner.
Race 2: JJ’s Waste & Recycling Handicap BM76 – 1200m
Stewards interviewed trainer K Petrick in relation to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders as she had multiple runners in this event.
BAHAMA BAY (App. L Maloney) – Restricted for room on jumping, bumping with runners on several occasions.
FLYING YISHU (D Hirini) – Raced wide throughout.
LUSKIN HERO (P Denton) – Began awkwardly.
LIMITED RISK (I Luximon) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
MOUGENOT (App. J Booth) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner.
Race 3: Colemans Printing Maiden Plate SW - 1100m
IZ SHAFT (D Hirini) – Raced wide throughout.
MAPLETON HILL (App. L Maloney) – Lay in under pressure from the 200m.
STARTYOURENGINE (P Denton) – Began awkwardly. Held up for clear running from the 500m to the 300m having to steady off heels. Raced ungenerously rounding the home turn before losing it’s off-side winker.
LOVE TO LIE (App. J Booth) – Slow into stride.
UPCOMING SEASON (B Cray) – Slow into stride and raced greenly in the early stages.
Race 4: Young Guns in the Marquee 31st Oct Handicap 0-58 – 1000m
YOU’RESOGOLDEN (B Cray) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide throughout. Lay in under pressure from the 200m.
BONNY IMPACT (P Denton) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
GO GO DOLLY (I Luximon) – Began awkwardly veering outwards and bumping with another runner.
SHEER REWARD (D Hirini) – Began awkwardly bumping with another runner and commenced to race wide from the 650m.
SNICK (App. J Booth) – Raced ungenerously into the first turn getting its head up.
Race 5: PFD Food Services Handicap (Div 1) 0-64 - 1400m
Stewards interviewed trainer K Petrick in relation to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders as she had multiple runners in this event.
MAGARTEN (B Cray) – Slow into stride.
MISS TOP GUN (App. J Booth) – Began awkwardly and lay in under pressure over the concluding stages.
MR JONES (P Denton) – Began awkwardly.
General: Stewards interviewed trainer K Petrick trainer of TELLEZ and its rider Apprentice D Barton as to her ride on that gelding after it lead the field for most of the race by up to 15 lengths. Stewards were mindful that the trainer had multiple runners in this event. Ms Petrick did advise Stewards in her pre-race riding instructions that the gelding would race forward. Ms Petrick advised that the gelding was very fired up on jumping and that her rider had difficulties in holding him. Apprentice Barton advised that she had difficulties restraining the gelding back and that he did get away from her.
Stewards accepted both explanations but did advise Ms Petrick that a stronger rider should be considered when next entering the gelding.
Race 6: Alice Springs Realty Derby Day 31st Oct Handicap (Div 2) 0-64 - 1400m
Stewards interviewed trainer K Petrick in relation to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders as she had multiple runners in this event.
VERBOSITY (B Cray) – Began awkwardly.
GRINZINGER LASS (App. J Booth) – Lay out under pressure final 100m.
MUMMSIE (App. L Maloney) – Slow into stride dipping shortly after.
HIGH AMBITIONS (D Hirini) – Began awkwardly.
General:
Post-race samples were taken from all winners.
Pre-race samples were taken from: FRANKFURT, GO GO DOLLY, MUMMSIE, MOUGENOT, OCTOBER STAR & UPCOMING SEASON.

Race 5 – Apprentice Jockey L Maloney was reprimanded for a whip breach, AR132(7)(a)(ii).
